Wellllll.... You don't go to Paris without seeing their lady, right? ^^ The sun was shining for approx ten minutes there so I managed to get a snapshot of the famous facade.

Notre Dame is an early gothic cathedral, and one of the very first where they used the flying buttresses to support the walls of the nave and the choir. Above the entrance is the gallery of kings. It was completed in 1356 after approx two centuries of construction work. The view over Paris from the bell towers is quite amazing :heart:

Oh I hope that I get to see the inside of Notre Dame as well, I've only walked by it because it wasn't open at that time...

gorgeous cathedral. I didn't realize it was just kinda there...right in the middle of all the people. Do they still hold services there?

oooh it's so very pretty! although when we were there this time it ws very crowded and noisy, didn't get those church-vibes at all :( if you have time, a trip up to the towers is definitely worth the trouble. costs extra though. but you get to see the bells!
