...you realize something about your OCs that has been *blindingly* obvious the whole time, but the cultural obsession with binaries, stereotypes and norms have made you too blind to realize it earlier, and then you're like *FACEDESK IM SO SORRY GAIZ ILL PAY MORE ATTENTION NEXT TIME* and the OCs just sit there and look sort of smug, like yeah right we totally believe you (not). And then that other moment when you realize that you have basically been misinterpreting your own creation on a subconscious level and how does that even work. (And this would have been more suited for Tumblr but whatev it's here now).

Okay so since the old journal is still old I'm writing a new one anyway woo woo. Mostly to announce I'm going to try start a new artsy project, inspired by and borrowed from Arahiriel (https://www.deviantart.com/arahiriel), i.e. the Animal Alphabet Project (like this!) That is, one animal per letter in the alphabet ^^ I want to challenge myself a little and do all of these in traditional media, but I will see how it goes.
